So, Anole has gotten something like 1200 comments in three weeks.

To celebrate, have a Relationship meme!

This is for Anole and Kanji and I guess if you want, Maya but she is backburner-y and doesn't get out much.

Hahaha he likes Jennifer! Even if she does make him mentally keyboard smash, so to speak, with some of her more blatant remarks. He doesn't think there's anything wrong with that, it's just something he is definitely not used to, being from the wonderfully small town of Fairbury Illinois, so when she gets raunchy like that the only thing he can do, most of the time, is laugh and be like "you--you actually just said that out loud, didn't you" at it. He definitely considers her his friend.

This would probably change if he knew about the cannibalism. And by "probably" I mean "definitely" -- he would still hang around her, but there would now be an ulterior motive of "make sure she doesn't hurt anyone."

I must admit to being curious about the reverse?

This is going to sound pretty horrible, but gay people absolutely fascinate Jennifer for a wide variety of reasons (most of which have to do with her own unresolved sexuality issues), so she's pretty invested in getting to know Anole a bit better. Yeah, it's not even the green/lizard thing that trips her up, it's the "liking boys" thing.

'Cause Jennifer's whole metaphor of carnage is basically about payback and treating men like objects the same way she's been treated her whole life, she doesn't know where to mentally sort Anole. ...Which means she's just treating him like a girl with a penis. And since she's been kind of rocky with Needy lately, he's quickly filling up the kinda-sorta-unoccupied "someone I can talk to about stupid shit" slot in her head.

Even beyond the tokenizing and confusion, though, she does like him as a person. She enjoys that she sort of tentatively has someone to vageuly bring up her ~issues~ with, in terms of having powers. She definitely would not eat him, which I guess counts for something.
