They do bro things together and despite their contrasting personalities, get along great. But Kitty is basically his BFF; they hang out together ALL THE TIME and get into shenanigans together and she is the bright peppy cheerful soul that the babymutants all need too. He saw Scott during the fourth wall event, so I'd have to say he wants Kitty more just because he hasn't seen her in forever. Also because Kitty is Rogue's friend too and Rogue would be happier with Kitty here. ALSO BECAUSE MISTLETOE IS COMING UP imean.
